Anyone else out there feel like they are tired of what’s in their closet by the end of a season? I hope I’m not alone on this, but after reaching for the same pieces over and over again as summer winds down, I find myself kind of bored. Don’t get me wrong, I love my clothes and am lucky to have options, but it’s not uncommon for me to start looking forward to switching things up a bit as a new season approaches. Unfortunately, in Alabama, we wait a while for it to actually start feeling like fall and given that we’ve been getting heat warnings this week I suspect this year won’t be any different. So, no matter how excited I get to be able to reach for sweaters and more fall-like dresses I’ll be in summer clothes for a bit longer. The one perk to this is that now’s when a lot of those summer pieces tend to go on sale meaning that if I am especially desperate to find something new, it will likely come with a heavily discounted price tag.
