My Library Look

Recently, I have been spending a ridiculous amount of time in the library. Ironically enough, I am writing this post while sitting in the library during a short study break. I lucked out and was not assigned any midterms however I have been spending the last few weeks laboring over a research paper. The amount of time I have put into it is unreal so hopefully my grade will reflect that!

With all of the time I have spent in the library, I have developed a typical outfit I will throw on before camping out in a cubicle!

My Library Look

I have been good about getting dressed and looking presentable for class but studying for me is definitely a time to be comfortable so I do not typically remain in my class clothes (props to you if you do!).

 I grab either a pair of workout leggings or crops or a pair of comfortable jeans to wear as my bottoms. It has been chilly in the evening here so shorts are no longer practical otherwise nikes shorts would definitely be thrown into this mix.

Next I grab either a pullover jacket (typically monogrammed) or an oversized sweater (with the occasional scarf). Again, comfort is key.

Now for shoes, depending on my choices above, I gravitate towards tennis shoes, riding boots, or even moccasins to trek to the library.

After that, I strategically pack my back pack, grab some coffee, and head to the lower level of the library.

P.S. I have also learned that the library can be a very social place so it is crucial to choose a spot in the back corners or bottom floor if you want to be productive!

Here is another study attire image that I created last year, the post for that one is here!
{Oddly enough I posted this on the 30th of October last year!}

Fall Break Recap {Watercolor}

Fall break was a few weeks ago and lets just say it was much needed! I was so excited to have some time off from school and catch up on some sleep. A couple of friends and I along with our fabulous mothers went to a friends house in Watercolor to enjoy the beach and good company!

For October it was surprisingly warm and we enjoyed tons of time both on the beach and in the water!

We biked and shopped and ate and enjoyed our 4 day break!

Now school is very much back in the swing of things so hopefully I will be able to make it to Thanksgiving!

Lilly Pulitzer + Monograms = Archaholic

Today I am so excited to introduce you to a super fun etsy shop I discovered! This shop is Archaholic and specializes in designs and prints and boy oh boy are they cute! I recently got a couple of prints from this shop to put in my dorm room and I couldn't be any bit more excited about the way they look!

Ren, the owner and designer behind these prints, sells the cutest monograms, letters, and phrases that are made up of Lilly prints. I have a D in my closet and my monogram by my desk and the print definitely dress up boring cinder blocks!

Here you can see the bright colors present in the print!

Ren is great about doing custom prints as well so definitely check out her shop!

Parents Weekend Picture Recap

Parents weekend was two weeks ago and it was so nice to have my parents in town! They got to Greenville on Thursday night so of course I seized the opportunity to join them for dinner that night. I am used to being away from my family since I have worked at camp but it is always so nice to be back together again!

Friday night instead of all going out to a restaurant we (with our parents) went to my friend Anna's house (she is a Greenville native) for a cookout. We all had a blast and it was so fun to meet my friends parents!

 Saturday morning I went to breakfast with my parents and then it was game time. We tailgated and then headed into the extremely hot game.

Caroline and I.

Dad even dressed in his purple to support the Paladins!

Obligatory parents weekend pic with the parents!

My sweet roommate, Nell!

Room mate photo again.

We were all dying at this point. It was far too hot to be October in South Carolina!

And leave it to dad to ruin a picture!

My friends and I all took our Eno Hammocks (thanks mom and dad!) out on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed doing some homework by the lake.

And we only had one fall!

Just call me mother goose!

It is finally starting to feel like fall here and I am loving all the changing leaves!

End of September / Early October Photos

I got a little behind with my photo updates so here are photos that range from the last time I did a post like this up until parents weekend which I will have a post up about tomorrow!

A few weeks ago I went on Furman's RUF (reformed university fellowship) Fall Conference to Camp Greystone. It was such a great time with sweet friends and the perfect little getaway!

It was the perfect fall weekend!

Walks around the lake often lead to explorations and Caroline and I found the perfect climbing tree!

 I still can't get over how absolutely beautiful my school is, definitely made the right choice!

Furman hosted a concert featuring Brett Eldredge so my roommate and I took a quick picture before heading to my first ever concert!

Before the concert started!

These are all sweet girls who live on my hall, I really lucked out being put on the same hall as so many sweet girls!

And the concert was awesome! My friends and I were on the second row and we had such a fun time!

Now don't let all of these fun pictures fool you! Furman has me in the library often and late so it isn't all fun in games but instead it is a nice balance. That is what I have discovered college is all about: balance!

Dorm Closet Tour {Video}

While this video was filmed at the very beginning of the semester, I have kept my closet very clean. In such a small space, messy is not an option! I will be filming another closet tour in the near future since I have redone it since this original set up but I am very fortunate that our closets allow us to customize them!

Here are some photos as well for you to get a better overview of my closet!

Please let me know of any video requests you may have and I will do my best to do them!
I am planning on doing a desk tour so that is already in the works!

Let me know what you think!
