July was a whirlwind now that I look back on it. As months go, I don’t think I’ve had a busier one in a while. From spending the Fourth of July at the beach with my family and Nell (who may as well be counted as family at this point), decorating multiple Christmas trees and writing copy to go along with it since the magazine world works that far ahead, attempting to bring y’all useful Nordstrom and Amazon sale content, and flying to Seattle to be maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding it’s no wonder that I feel like I can’t catch up. When my roommate and I were filling out our shared fridge calendar, I was happy not to have quite so many things to add to the board. As of right now, I’ll be around until I head to my brother’s wedding in California at the end of the month. And honestly, I’m kind of happy to be staying put since this is definitely our busiest time of the year at work.
