This week started out better than I could have imagined! One of my best friends from home was on her way back to the University of Georgia from visiting her sister in Virginia and stopped by Furman and surprised me! I was in disbelief and the video that this picture was taken from has me questioning her presence the whole time. I got to eat breakfast with her the following morning before she headed back in time for class. I love unexpected things like that and it made my rainy Monday so much more fun!
Tuesday mornings I go and volunteer at a school for students with disabilities and I am in a 3 year old classroom. The kids are the cutest things ever and this week we decorated for Valentine's Day. I was helping two of the little boys with theirs and they both asked me to be their valentine. I about lost it, they are the cutest and I adore that I get to spend that time with them each week.
In addition to meetings, labs, and lots of time in the library (always, college has gotten hard) a friend and I went to a raffle for a ski trip one night this week. Somehow we both won tickets and are going skiing next Friday! I am so excited but a bit nervous too seeing as I have never skied before in my life! Any and all advice would be appreciated!
That's about it for this week aside from if you want to check out my instagrams from this week you can find them here!
I am off to Auburn this weekend and will be updating you on that next week!!
Your ski trip sounds like it will be a blast! My family and I go skiing every weekend and it is one of my favorite things! Make sure you know how to stop before you hit the slopes and always take a break for hot chocolate if it gets cold :)

WARM SOCKS ARE A MUST!! Also, a scarf or bandana that will fit right up to the bottom of your goggles will save your face from the bitter cold and wind burn. Don't forget to have tons of fun and get back up if you fall! Skiing is a blast, you'll love it!
