Carolina Blue Off The Shoulder Top

With Labor Day approaching oh so quickly (yay for a three day weekend) I figured that one last outfit post while white jeans aren't breaking any rules was in order. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about those rules since it is still so hot that white seems like a suitable option into September in South Carolina but I'd being lying if I said I wasn't a rule follower. I suppose only time and future blog posts will tell how well I stick to that rule this go round.

I will be embracing white jeans while I can since I love the crisp look they give an outfit, especially with all of the off the shoulder blouses I've been loving this summer. This one is a bit different though since it sticks to the off the shoulder silhouette but with a twist! The tied bow details on the shoulders makes the top look less boxy and more feminine. The Carolina Blue hue is what initially drew my eyes to this blouse and the fact that it is from one of my favorite affordable stores, H & M, had me sold. I threw on my go-to brown accessories and my every day jewelry to complete the outfit with minimal effort! My fingers are crossed that H & M continues to release equally as cute and affordable fall pieces as the season approaches!

I'd love to know your take on white after Labor Day! Do you wear it or do you pack it up and save it for the next year?

  1. My white jeans stay with me year-round! I love how it looks with typical fall and winter colors. I love that top you're wearing! Super cute! North Carolina never really gets too cold either, especially not for a while. Which is why I'm drinking an iced PSL right now.
