Sephora Sale Summer Favorites + What I Have My Eyes On

If you follow other blogs (which I suspect you do), then you’ve probably already heard the news about Sephora’s big sale. Since the sale opened yesterday to everyone, I figured now would be a good time to share some of my favorite products that I’ll be using all summer long that are on sale at Sephora. Your discount depends on your tier which is broken down for you below:
•    Rogue Members (spend up to $1000 annually at Sephora) get 20% off with the code HEYROGUE
•    VIB Members (spend up to $350 annually at Sephora) get 15% off with the code HEYVIB
•    Insiders (no minimum spend amount) get 10% off with the code HEYINSIDER

Becoming an insider is free and worth it if you’re hoping to restock your makeup bag with some new products before summer kicks off. In case you missed it, I shared my easy, everyday makeup routine a few weeks ago here which includes plenty of products that are included in the sale! Below you will find the more summer-specific items I’ll be using as well as a wishlist of a few products I’d love to try out.

When I think of summer, I think of wearing less makeup (no point trying to do anything aside from embracing my freckles) and getting so excited to take off makeup when I do actually put it on. My Makeup Eraser has been one of the very best products I’ve bought. At $20 I’m using so many fewer cotton rounds (slowly saving the environment over here) and can effortlessly take my makeup off with just this cloth and water. I’ve gotten all my friends hooked so if you try anything from the sale do yourself and the environment a favor by making it this!

With SPF 50, decent coverage, and a lightweight feeling on the skin It Cosmetics CC Cream is what I reach for in the summer if I’m hoping to look put together. I also really love their concealer when my face is choosing not to cooperate and apply both with a damp beauty blender sponge.

Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover (sadly I don't see this online but you should be able to get it in store)
I LOVE nail polish and especially love the bright colors that are more acceptable to wear in the spring and summer. Because I want to have time to wear all of my favorites, having an easy way to remove the polish when I’m ready for the next shade is helpful. I’ve gotten all the girls in my family hooked on this since all you have to do is stick your finger in the container and rub it against the sponge to remove your polish. And as a little insider secret, if it’s beginning to dry out, you can easily pour some regular nail polish remover in the container to make it last longer but at $8 buying a new one may be just as easy!

I’m all about protecting my skin but also like for it to have a little bit of color. Coola’s Sunless Tan Anti-Aging face serum has been the best way to do this for my face without makeup. I apply a pump to my face at night before my regular moisturizer, and it gives my face a little bit of natural color.

And speaking of tanning, St. Tropez is my go-to self-tanner for my arms and legs. I use their mit to apply it which makes that process super easy and I like that it doesn’t have a typical self-tanner smell. Since it has green undertones, it won’t leave you looking orange which is another plus. To make it look more natural put a little bit of lotion on your ankles, knees, and elbows so that the product doesn’t build up there. I find that it doesn’t look streaky and lasts quite a few days!

My hair has been a source of frustration as of late since it doesn’t seem to do what I want and then I spend more time styling it with heat products which aren’t good for it. I raved about Olaplex No. 3 and Olaplex No. 6 in this post and hope that they continue to do wonders for my hair.

It’s a 10 Heat Protector (oops, looks like Sephora no longer carries this)
Because my hair is frustrating me, I’ve been trying to make a point of taking better care of it by using a heat protectant. I’ve had a bottle of It’s A 10 Before and recently rediscovered the product. I got the lightweight one so that it doesn’t feel heavy on my hair but know both do a great job.

This is a perfume I’ve had since high school that I seem to rediscover each spring. I don’t know how to describe the scent other than that it smells amazing. The description on the website does a much better job than I could even attempt.

This is pretty much the makeup version of the Coola product from above. Watching it match my skin when I put it on is so cool and paired with a lightweight powder it’s my version of makeup in the summer.

I got the Amika Straightener Brush during one of Sephora’s sales previously and love how simple it makes de-frizzing and straightening my hair. I find that if I flip my head over and work from the roots to the front of my head, I can make my hair look straightened but still have volume in no time.

As you’ve probably caught on with the reason I love so many of these other products, a summer glow without putting my skin at risk tends to dictate my beauty routine. I got a travel size of this highlighter years ago and still love using it to highlight my cheekbones (despite dropping it and cracking the product). Unless you are an avid highlight user save yourself some money by getting the generous travel size version.

Sadly I am currently out of this product, but I think that I may have to restock on it (and this!!!) before some long flights this summer. It’s called a mask although it works more as a thick, hydrating mask that you don’t have to wash off.
