Mother's Day just about snuck up on me. With all the business of packing up an apartment to move to a new one and the fun festivities that came with graduation (more on that later) I hadn't exactly opened my planner in a while and failed to remember that Mother's Day is this Sunday. Fortunately, I happened to get my mom's present last month so I don't have to scramble too much. However, if you are like me and forgot that it was quickly approaching I've come up with some great items that your mom would surely appreciate!
My favorite of these is the Tell Me Something Good Tote. That is a phrase that my mom used to use when she picked my brother and me up from school when we were younger and transitioned to dinner table conversations and later Sunday phone calls from college. I remember her explaining to me why she had to use that phrasing with my brother instead of just asking "how was your day/week/specific event." Saying "Tell Me Something Good" forced him to answer in more than one word and usually left us with a funny story. When I saw this tote I couldn't help but think back to all of the conversations that resulted from that phrase and if I didn't already have her a gift that would definitely be what I would choose.
scallop tunic // ratan clutch // recipe binder // mama is off duty eye mask // best mom ever sign //
I'd love to hear what you're giving your mom or how you're celebrating on Sunday!
The Mama is off Duty eye mask is so cute. So handy for flights!
