Our House Decorated For Christmas

It’s a bit ironic that I am posting this today since now I am home-home (aka Fairhope) for the holidays instead of soaking up the holiday season in Birmingham. I really wish I had had more time to enjoy the holiday season in Birmingham, but it’s good to be with my family.

Even with the short amount of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas in Birmingham, I still wanted our house to feel festive and decorated with a tree, lots of garland, and even more lights. I filmed the process which took *much* longer than I had anticipated and thought it would be fun to share it with y’all. Blown out fuses, a slight meltdown, and a re-lit tree later, it was all worth it in the end! I hope y’all enjoy this look at our décor and be sure to watch the video at the bottom of this post for more of the behind the scenes.

Be sure to check back this afternoon for another new blog post!

  2. Family holidays please only those who celebrate it in a big house with their family. But not everyone can do this. I had enough Muslim friends at the University of Manchester. I was surprised that they almost never had a girlfriend by their side. But then I realized that they prefer distance relationships through their site. Their traditions require keeping a distance until both partners become an engaged couple. But on the other hand, I'm glad that there are sites that take into account such features.
