Tied With A Bow {H&M Romper}

I am pretty giddy over here to be sharing this post with y'all as this article of clothing may be my favorite affordable summer find. At $25 for the best fitting romper I've ever owned this piece is already a no-brainer with some adorable details up its non-existent sleeves to make it that much better. With a v-neck cut, bows tied delicately on your shoulders, a popover top, and an airy back it is safe to say I am obsessed and the fact that it is black makes it super versatile. This piece has been perfect so far this summer and I know it will transition well into fall as well.

I have been floored at all of the cute pieces H & M  (I have so many more outfit posts to be posted soon featuring affordable H&M pieces) has been releasing this summer and you could have easily fooled me and told me this romper was purchased at a swanky boutique with a much higher price tag. I am pretty picky when it comes to how rompers find and being on the taller side (5'7") they can definitely be a hit or miss but this one knocked it out of the park.

As for shoes and accessories I tried to let the romper do most of the talking while those pieces just accentuated how cute it can be. These sandals were found at Target for under $20 and are the perfect piece to transition into fall as well. While I was partial to the black snakeskin sandals they also had a tan and neutral color option as well. Paired with a simple everyday necklace or a fun agate statement necklace it's an easy transition from day to night.

This purse is also another fun transition piece to have on hand for summer and fall. Nell (who has been taking all of my blog photos as of late) kept asking when we would get to shoot an outfit with the tiny purse and I think she was shocked to see what all I was capable of fitting in it. It's such a fun and unexpected piece that instantly catches your eye. This specific bag comes in a variety of sizes and colors if tiny and nude aren't your thing!

I've been all about easy throw on pieces and can assure you this won't be the last dress or romper you'll being seeing around here! Have y'all found any pieces that you can't seem to get enough of lately?

  1. This is SO cute! I've only found one or two go-to summer items that I can throw on (at least, ones that I can afford!) the bows are definitely my favorite part of this one!

  2. Love the tie detailing. You look lovely in the romper. One piece that I can't get enough of is my white and black nike baseball hat. It's so sporty and chic. Plus it hides the fact that you're having a bad hair day.

  4. I love your romper! It's so chic and perfect! I have the same problem finding rompers, but instead of being tall, I'm short and a lot are always too big, haha.

  5. I have a birth mark in the exact same place and about the same size! Mine's a heart shape though. So crazy.

    I'm all about easy pieces, especially dresses, but I just got a pair of Levis 311 shaping skinny jeans and my life has been changed forever. They are the most amazing pants I have ever put on! Perfect for tall girls :)
