As much as I hate to admit it, it's officially time to start thinking about heading back to school! This is especially true for me considering I leave tomorrow (brb gotta go pack) and there are definitely so,e parts of back to school that I really do love! New school supplies? Count me in and give me at least an hour to pick them out! Picking out am outfit for the first day? Another thing that's not too bad! A clean, fun backpack waiting to be filled with supplies and paired with your first day outfit? I'm sold.
So, I'm the spirit of making back to school more fun I am bringing you both an outfit idea and a look at the cutest backpack to toe your supplies in come the first day. Although you may not be able to get away with shorts with a dress code but I couldn't bare thinking about wearing pants with how hot it is at the end of the summer here! This outfit was entirely inspired by my navy, pink, and gold Madeline and Company backpack that I received last year and as a sucker for blue finding something that could stand out on its own but also look perfect with this pack was no problem!
I love J.Crew's button down tops because I feel like I can find a way to ear them year round and this navy gingham one is no exception. Paired with a simple pair of white shorts and a comfy pair of sneakers the look gives the allusion of being totally effortless while still being comfortable. This is definitely an outfit I could see myself wearing to class and by having a backpack with plenty of room to fit all my books I'd have my hands free to read the skimm as I walk to campus (one of my favorite parts of my morning routine). If you're like me and can't get enough of this backpack then be sure to keep reading as I'm excited to be bringing y'all the opportunity to win your own!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite backpack color scheme is the traditional navy with pink + gold! :)
My first day of school (I go to Converse College in Spartanburg, SC) outfit would probably include a pair of Lilly shorts with a white oxford or tank or I will wear white jeans with a Lilly Pulitzer elsa top and Tory Burch millers!
My favorite color combination of the backpacks offered by Madeline and Company would be either the Natural with Pink and Navy or the Navy with Pink and Gold. On the first day of school I'll be wearing a Lilly Pulitzer top with white jeans and my Jacks!

I would be wearing my new Lilly shorts to school, but I have the most outrageous dress code... As such, I'll be probably wearing these new J Crew navy and pink polka dot capri pants J got with a pink shirt (to be found).
ReplyDeleteI love the Madeline and company back story and her entrepreneurial spirit. The back packs are too cute. Sadly I'll be wearing a uniform my first day otherwise I would be wearing my Lilly shorts.
ReplyDeleteI love these backpacks! Super cute and functional! I also love that it doesn't have back padding since mine makes shirts pill up. I try to look cute for class but usually end up in gym shorts and a tshirt.
