Step Into my Week 9.22

I don’t love the trend that is becoming having my Step Into My Week posts going live on Tuesday instead of Monday, but sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything accomplished! The time I would’ve spent this weekend working on this post was spent working on sponsored content going up later this year, which put me a little behind to kick off the week. Hopefully, I’ll be back on track soon. When trying to think back about the last week and what I was up to, it’s all a bit of a blur since I only had two shoots and spent most of my week working from home and forgot to take pictures of what I had been up to for y’all.

I started my Monday morning at True40 and came home to quickly shower before having a couple of video meetings. I went into the office in the afternoon and can’t remember what I was up to that evening. I had a shoot on Tuesday that went pretty quickly, and I made dinner with a friend that night. We made fajitas, and they turned out well.

I had another shoot on Wednesday that was centered around Mardi Gras and food you could serve at a Fat Tuesday brunch. That lasted into the afternoon, and after getting home from it, I had more work to accomplish on the computer. That night I hung out with Macy, and we sat on the sofa talking for a while before we eventually went to sleep.

Since I didn’t have a shoot on Thursday and Nell didn’t have to go into her rotation either, so we had breakfast before I started my day of working from home. I did an at-home workout later in the day and showered, and once my workday was over went and got a flu shot. That night I hung out with a friend and played a few games of chess before deciding to watch TV instead. We picked up dinner from an Italian place in Crestline Village and just hung out for a bit that night.

Friday was also spent working from home, and after wrapping things up, I showered and made a to-do list for the weekend. I went to the store in the afternoon and started to make a recipe for a sponsored post that I am really excited to share with y’all closer to the holiday season. Nell came over and helped with the pictures for that, and we met up with a couple of other friends at Melt to celebrate our friend Caroline’s birthday. I think I was in bed by 8:30 that night, which was really nice.

The weather on Saturday felt incredible, so after working on a blog post in bed, I decided to walk to Crestline Village and got coffee at Church Street Coffee. Since it was so lovely out, a group of us decided to spend part of the day outside at Avondale Brewing, which was laid back and fun. After that, I just hung out with a friend and watched sports with a small group of people.

Sunday morning was spent lazily doing laundry and cleaning my room. After making myself lunch, I made some granola and finished getting the photos I needed for the sponsored post I was working on. In the afternoon, a group of friends and I went on a walk, and I showered, made dinner, and talked on the phone to my parents after that. They had a lot to say to update me on how our house and beach house were doing after Hurricane Sally. While our house didn’t have any damage (just a lot of debris), our beach house took a hard hit, and seeing all of the photos from the storm was sad. To distract myself, I went over to Nell’s apartment, and we watched St. Elmo’s Fire with our friend Katie. None of us had seen the movie and had heard it was a classic, so at least now I can say I’ve watched it!

I hope you have a great Tuesday and are also getting a bit of cooler weather to celebrate the first day of fall!

  1. An add-on is formed and included for the reforms for the candidates. The messages of the casco agv k1 are piled for the terms. The schedules fit for the offers. Link is piled for the alteration for the embedding of the joys.
