It really feels like today should be Thursday to me! But since it’s not and I’m already confused, why not scratch the original post I had planned to share this one with y’all instead? Don’t worry, I’ll share what I did have scheduled for today tomorrow, but seeing so many Barbour pieces on sale felt like something worth sharing as soon as possible.
If you’ve followed me for a while, then you probably already know that my Barbour jacket is one of my most worn pieces as soon as it gets cold in October until it warms back up again in March or April. I have a couple of different jackets from the brand, and the waxed one I own is undoubtedly one of the most worn pieces in my closet. I’ve had it rewaxed once and even had to get the pocket repaired because of how much I use it. Those of you who are familiar with the brand also likely know that their timeless style and quality usually comes with a pretty hefty price tag. While over time that investment pays off since this is a piece that should last forever, it can be really intimidating upfront, which is why I was so surprised to see so many different styles of jackets on sale (with an additional discount) online this week.
Saks Off Fifth currently has Barbour jackets on sale in a variety of colors. While none of these jackets are the exact same style as the waxed one I have, they are pretty similar, and for the discount, would be an awesome alternative.
