Summer Bucket List

As we were heading home from the beach the other day my dad asked me what my favorite type of blog post to write was. While I didn’t have a specific favorite since I like the variety and coming up with different post topics for y’all one that I always look forward to with the changing of the seasons are my bucket list posts.

While they just call for a bit of brainstorming and some time to create somehow they encourage me to look forward all that is ahead of me with a new season. Summer is a pretty easy one to get excited about for most people which makes this one especially fun. This will be the first summer that I will have taken classes so personally for me, this bucket list will help to encourage me to make the most of my time outside of class. I tried to make it especially cute so that it would be bulletin board worthy (that would require me having a bulletin board so for now it will be on the fridge) and be a great reminder! While summer doesn’t officially begin until June 21st now you have a bit of extra time to make sure that you can get everything on this list done before school starts back in the fall.
*all of the cute illustrations included in this post are from Evelyn Henson! Check out all of her artwork here.

I’d love to hear your suggestions of what I should add to this list!

  1. Oooh, I haven't thought about having a pen pal for years! I used to have one when I was young, we probably sent 20+ letters back and forth over the course of a few years. I want to do that again, what a great idea!

  3. Love this post! I've had unplug for 24 hours on my want to-do list forever but I'm a little nervous, but I think summer is the perfect time to do it!

  5. Your list is honestly just the cutest! You did a great job designing it. Also, nothing beats homemade popsicles. I remember as a kid pouring koolaid in the popsicle containers. I would get so impatient when they weren't done
