Easter Outfit and Basket Ideas

There is something about springtime that encourages bright colors and cute dresses. As Easter approaches and events pick up I feel like I have the perfect excuse to keep my eyes peeled for cute dresses that would fit a variety of occasions. Dresses are so much easier to wear and style than having to pick separate pieces when getting ready and I’m not sure what other clothing item is acceptable to wear out and about that is as flowy and comfortable as a dress. Combine those qualities with a cute design and I’ve probably already added it to my shopping cart.

That was the case when I came across Britt Ryan a few years back. The bright colors are so inviting and all of the clothing styles looked too cute not to indulge. With Easter coming up this weekend I figured there was no better time than the present. Although I am not positive what our Easter plans will be since I will be at the beach with my family over the long weekend but regardless this dress will be making its way home with me!

Yellow is one of those bright spring colors that I wish I could wear but just usually does not look good. I was excited to see the combination of yellow with hues of blue on this trapeze-esque dress. It is the perfect weight for warmer weather and will be a dress I wear for more than just Easter and will be perfect for spring weddings and events!

And with Easter so close on the horizon I thought it would be fun to share some ideas for Easter Baskets as well. While obviously I would LOVE pieces from Britt Ryan’s collection to show up in my basket, the Easter Bunny is usually slightly more budgeted. I’ve done my best to include very affordable items that are worthy of excitement on Easter morning but a couple of higher ticket items may have hopped into the collage as well! If the Easter Bunny happens to be reading, I could really use a new bottle of my favorite nail polish (Essie Fiji) and a new top coat (Seche Vite Fast Dry is my favorite).

I hope this gave you some ideas!
