Nautical Navy & White

Clothing that you can throw on in the summer is hard to beat especially when it is comfortable and cute.  What's better than an easy outfit that looks like you put in more effort that you did? Well, that is what this Duffied Lane dress is for me. It's incredibly easy, looks cute, and is made out of the softest material.  I've always loved all things nautical and I think that is why I was so drawn to this piece with its classic navy and white design and fun detail around the collar. The material is soft enough for it to feel like pajamas but I foresee myself wearing it for the entire rest of this summer to run errands, as a coverup, and just around the house.

According to the drawer in my closet, I am the tote bag queen however I don't think I've ever had one quite as large as this Sloane Ranger one. Seriously, it is huge! The navy and white stripes give it a classic feel as does the leather handle but the versatility of the bag lies in its size and the fact that it has a longer strap. I've been using this on our past few beach trips and end up completely in awe of just how much it can hold. I was able to put my shoes, toiletries, beach bag (yep, bag in a bag),  laptop, and other essentials inside. My guess is that if I weren't a chronic over packer this would be the only bag I'd need to carry with me on a weekend trip!

After wearing this shirt dress I am dying to try some other preppy pieces from Duffied Lane and their instagram has me anxiously awaiting their resort collection! Maybe I'll test the limits of my tote with some more of their pieces!
