Truths of College (so far)

I am no pro when it comes to school but I'd like to think that I've discovered a few things thus far in my college experience. I've always heard that it is a learning experience and I think more often than not the learning deals with stuff you aren't necessarily talking about in class.

Being on break always causes me to reflect on school and I thought it could be fun to share this reflection with y'all.

Here are just a few tidbits of what I have discovered in college so far...

Coffee is your friend.
If you aren't a fan of coffee, I am sorry. I limit my coffee drinking to when I am in dire need or plan to spend a large chunk of time in the library studying or working on a project. It is almost like a reward for being productive and it is delicious!

Failing isn't the end of the world.
See post here...

To-do lists and an organized agenda makes everything easier.
I am a bit of an organization fanatic but being organized really does help out in the long run. Check out how I organize my agenda here.

The hardest person to please is yourself.
When you are a perfectionist like me this is a problem that will always haunt you.

Always have milk and cereal on hand.
The easiest meal to prepare and a simple one to have on hand!

Weekends are for catching up, sleeping in, and having fun.

You'll never regret time spent with friends.
To this point I have yet to, I'll let you know if that changes but I doubt it will.

Your intentions and attitude make a world of difference.

Worrying causes stress.
I'm a stressor, it's my nature. If I begin to get worked up over something I in turn become more stressed!

An afternoon nap when you have the time is always a good idea.

What are some of the truths you've discovered?
