Today is my first day of classes of sophomore year. I am so excited to have gotten all moved in and settled back with my friends at Furman but I still can't believe we aren't freshmen any more. Fortunately my summer was slightly more extended than some considering my only class on Tuesday and Thursday starts at 11:30. I don't know what to do with myself in the morning with so much extra time!

I would have played golf for the D-3 school if I had not been offered a full scholarship to a Division I university in Texas. As it turns out, I left my home in Kentucky to attend school in Texas, fell in love with a cowboy and, ten years later, I'm happily married to that cowboy (who's a computer engineer by trade), mama to an eight-month old boy, and living near Fort Worth. Blessed beyond measure, for sure!
