Blue and White Embroidered Blouse

Happy happy Friday! I survived my first full week of this season of grad school and just came to the realization that we are halfway finished with this session. There are still a number of assignments left to complete however this session has been so much more manageable. After early (and very very early) mornings this week I am excited to sleep in this weekend and work on so much new content. I know I keep saying that there is something exciting coming y'alls way and while it's not quite perfect yet I think y'all are going to love it. Thanks for being so patient with that!

Also, I hope y'all aren't too frustrated by the Nordstrom sale yet! I am still combing through everything to continue adding images to my guide and to share helpful information about the sale with y'all so that everyone who shops public access is set to go. I know that it seems like all bloggers are talking about right now but when it is something I genuinely love to shop I see no reason not to share my picks with y'all. For those of you not interested in the sale I get it but for those who are stay tuned for some exciting posts that ties into the sale giving you both quality content and helpful information regarding items in the sale.

Now that we've covered that let's move on to talking about this outfit. The blue and white is nothing new to see around these parts but  this blouse is one that you need to know about. If you're like me you may be a little hesitant to wear a blouse in the summer since it is usually so darn hot outside but since I am in freezing cold classrooms most of the day a blouse is a perfect choice. At $25 for a piece that looks equally as good with dark wash jeans as it does with white jeans I knew it was a no brainer.  I swear that every time I go on Old Navy's site I can't log off without adding upwards of 7 or 8 pieces to my cart. They have the best prices for items that I want to wear out and about with friends but can also wear once I start teaching. Having items that overlap in this way makes finally pulling the trigger on purchasing a new piece a little bit easier since I know that it will get so much wear. These  sandals are also from Old Navy and have been the easiest thing to complete an outfit on my way out the door in the morning!

I'd love to hear what y'all are up to this weekend!

  1. I haven't dipped into embroidery yet even though it's trending, but your piece is very subtle for trying on the pattern! Love the white and blue colours!
