Summer Staycation: Ideas For Making The Most Of Where You Are This Summer

Aside from the trip I took to kick off my summer I get to be at home (or at our family beach house) the rest of the summer. While it has been super hard seeing everyone’s photos from working at camp I am excited to spend an extended period at home since it has been 3 summers since I last did so. This summer I will be nannying for a family in my town 3 days a week (T,W,TH) and spending plenty of time blogging and beaching the other days!

When I was younger I sometimes felt like the summer could last forever. With so many different activities going on I could pretty much guarantee that my days wouldn't be wasted away. As I've gotten older (and grown to adore getting plenty of rest) I feel like I could grow tired of wasting summer days away and be bored with being in the same place for multiple months.

In order to combat this potential issue before it has the potential of occurring I decided to come up with some fun things to do in my own town to ensure that I am making the most of my freedom from academics. While I am a lucky ducky since my town happens to be on the water some of my ideas may revolve around the bay but could probably be done on a lake or pond near you! Hopefully you'll begin to feel inspired and will be able to make the most of where you are this summer!
