Step Into My Week: 10/31 - 11/7 + Sales You Won't Want To Miss

Sorry this post is going up a bit late to say this week has been crazy busy would be an understatement. I am not sure if anyone else does this but when I get my syllabus at the beginning of the semester I quickly realize which week will be my hardest of the semester and that was this week! With a project due Thursday, a two hour meeting Thursday night, two tests on Friday and now a test this upcoming Monday along with a project due that day as well I've been going non stop. And if that didn't seem crazy enough I got the most horrible toothache ever last Saturday afternoon that has been hanging out with me all week. You know I am so looking forward to Monday afternoon so I can finally breathe again. End my mini rant.

Friday night was Halloween and I went to my friend Olivia's house to help pass out candy with her and some friends and eat a home cooked meal. While it isn't what you typically picture as a college Halloween (especially when it falls on a Friday) but it was probably a lot more fun. We even were able to watch Hocus Pocus, Halloween (Nelland I were hiding behind my pillow most of that movie), and Halloweentown as we feel asleep (sadly we didn't tae any pictures). Saturday it snowed at Furman. Feel free to be just as shocked as I was. We were all in awe of the fact that it stuck on the ground and it looked funny seeing bright fall leaves mixed in with the snow. The rest of Saturday I took it easy and did some homework when my mouth wasn't in too much pain.

Sunday was my chapter of Kappa Delta's Shamrock 5k run for our philanthropies. It was such a blast and we had a really great turnout for the event even when it was a bit chilly.

Right as the race began...

Monday afternoon I went to the dentist since my tooth was still causing me trouble and the right side of my face was beginning to feel heavy because of it. Thank goodness for friends who are willing to drive you to the dentist to be your moral support when you're away from home. I am not usually one to get homesick but when you are sick and really want your mom and dad to take care of you but they are 8 hours away and you can't go to your normal dentist homesickness kicks in. Nell was such a trooper through it all and I don't think I could ever thank her enough for our friendship. While me tooth is still sort of hurting currently advil has been getting me through this week!

As for the rest of the week it was spent at meetings and studying away in the library. I am currently writing this post as a study break and studied all last night for my big test on Monday as well. Thank goodness Thanksgiving break is coming soon!

This is my favorite post that I've done in a while so if you are ever curious about how I make my blog images you can figure that out here!
