Thomas Kelly

The motivation to workout is not a feeling that everyone experiences. I know from my experience that if I have a cute outfit to wear I will be more excited about my workout. Recently I received two items from the new workout brand Thomas Kelly and they have been excellent motivation!

How stinkin' cute is the Malaga Mix and Padaro Pants! Pink and Navy are already my favorite colors together, add in gingham, a ruffle, and a T-back and you've got the cutest running top on Earth!

I love wearing this top with my pink nike shorts with the gingham line down the side since the weather is still a little toasty! I can't wait until it gets warmer though so that I can pair it with the pants because they are the softest workout pants I've ever worn!

Love their logo! The philosophy behind the designs is that you can go from exercise to errands in these clothes and I think they achieve this idea!

Another item they have that I am lusting over is the Bolero Boyfriend Cardigan. Super comfy and cute while long enough to cover up your bottom after your workout, PERFCT!

Hope y'all love Thomas Kelly as much as I do!

Homecoming Dress

Homecoming at my school is not a formal affair unless you are a senior girl. One thing that I absolutely love about my school is that all of the girls in the senior class get to be a part of the Homecoming Court.  My school is pretty small so there are only about 25 girls but I love the tradition of participation by all. Because of that, I am on the Homecoming Court and had to look for a dress to wear out on the field during half time. Oddly enough, I will only wear this for the game and change into something more casual and related to the theme of our Homecoming dance that follows.

I found this dress at nordstroms.com and was obsessed from the minute I laid eyes on it. Sadly, it was out of my size in every color. Fortunately, my mom found it in our local Dillards and we couldn't have been more excited. The price was great, it looks great on, and I can wear it for years to come!

It is navy lace with a boatneck and I love it.
The bottom has lace detailing that extends past the slip in a scalloped design.

The back has a metallic gold zipper with a deepish v neck.

The funny thing about this dress is it works forwards or backwards. I don't think it is necessarily made to but it works!

Now I am having to look for shoes and would love suggestions. Heels won't work on the field (I would sink) so I am thinking formal wedges would be the best bet in a metallic color. Link any shoes you think would work below or any suggestions for hair.

Lifeguard Press Fall

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to y'all but I love Lifeguard Press. Some of you may remember my last post talking about their Lilly Pulitzer storage bin and catchall with pad but if not you can check it out here.

Well they have done it again, I recently received two fabulous items from their fall Lilly Pulitzer goodies and I love them! In my opinion, the most well known item they sell is the Lilly Pulitzer agenda. Everyone and their sister seems to have one which shows Lifeguard Press is definitely doing something right.

The products I received from the fall 2012 collection were the Dirty Shirley Caddy and the Dirty Shirley Portable Speaker. As you probably guessed, I love the Dirty Shirley print and it is my second favorite from this fall collection behind the See You Later print.

This is a picture of the caddy which has SO MANY pockets! This could be used for so many different things because of the amount of storage space it contains

I am using mine to hold painting supplies. The front pockets are great for paint brushes as well as paint bottles.

The inside pocket is huge and has plenty of room for finished or unfinished canvases. I think this caddy could be perfect for a shower bag (although I am not sure I would want it wet).

Here is an image of the two side pockets. These pockets are larger than the front pockets and could easily fit tons of paperclips, pencils, notecards, or post-its if you were to use it as a desk caddy.

The other item I was sent was the portable speaker. It is precious and the sound that comes from it is incredible. I was super impressed with the quality and love that it is so small and only requires 2 AAA batteries to operate.

Here is it next to my iPhone. They are nearly the same size, the speaker is just wider.

I am so pleased with all of the lifeguard press products I've purchased and received and can't recommend them enough!

Miss Lucy's Monograms Spa Wrap Review and Giveaway

Over the summer, I was given the opportunity to review 5 products of my choice from an online monogram shop, Miss Lucy's Monograms. This post begins a series sponsored by Miss Lucy's Monograms which involves a product review and a giveaway for you! This months item is a Waffle Weave Spa Wrap - with a monogram, of course! At the end of this post you will be able to enter to win your very own Spa Wrap!

Miss Lucy's Monograms is an online shop that has over 500 products that are completely customizable! Not only do you get to choose your monogram font but they also have tons of font styles to choose from that are available in many colors to make your product even more personalized. Everything needed to be accomplished in order to get you your monogrammed goodie is done in their monogram studio!

Whether in college or not, this spa wrap is a bathroom must! This summer at camp I realized just how useful this item would have been if I had had it. It covers you enough to feel comfortable walking from your room to the bathroom without feeling the least bit exposed! Even if you aren't in college or a camp person this spa wrap can be just as useful for you too! I don't know about y'all but I always work up a sweat while blow drying my hair and that is the last thing you want to do after just showering! I find that if I cover up in this and then blow dry my hair I do not get nearly as hot during the process!

Another great thing about this product is that the elastic and velcro combination at the top allows you to have a comfortable fit, no matter your size. The Spa Wrap is made out of a waffle weave cotton and is surprisingly soft! Although this isn't going to absorb tons of water and shouldn't be used as a towel, it can definitely speed the drying process up. With a towel, your hands aren't exactly "hands free" but with a spa wrap like this you can do whatever you need to do without feeling like it is going to fall off.

The best part about this particular spa wrap is the pocket! I am not sure what exactly I would use it for but pockets are always an added bonus!

Now who wants to win their own?
Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter!

Good Luck!

The Southern Monogram

I definitely am not the kind of girl who is against wearing nike shorts and t-shirts but it is a added bonus when the t-shirt is precious. For me, I feel so much more put together when it is cute even though my attire in reality is very casual.

My Lilly Pocket T-Shirt from The Southern Monogram on etsy is the perfect example of me feeling more put together when wearing a casual outfit.

The T-Shirts the owner, Helen, sells have a seen on pocket in some really cute Lilly fabrics. The one I have is in Ten Speed with my monogram in white. I love it especially with pink shorts and my pink and yellow chacos.

The first time I wore it was to my Dads triathlon in Destin and I felt so festive because it had bikes on it! I am sure other people failed to notice but that type of attention to detail isn't everyones cup of tea.

And I can't talk about this precious shop without sharing some of their other inventory that I am loving. I think the monogrammed sports bras are so cute and so are the mens monogram ties!

What are your favorite items?
