Today I get to head to my "summer home!" By that I mean camp. This year is a little different though. This year I am old enough to be a counselor! This will be my seventh summer at camp and in total I will spend 5 weeks at camp. For now, I will be gone for one week for orientation. I don't really know what to expect but I know it will be a blast since all the counselors working this summer will be at camp at the same time. This means me and my three closest camp friends and all of the other counselors will get to have camp all to ourselves. I'll see y'all in a week and while I'm gone don't forget to enter my giveaway ( I'll draw the winner as soon as I get back!). Below are a few pictures from last summer. I'm posting this from my phone so ignore the odd setup and spacing!
During the summer time I love the look of wearing stacked bracelets. Every year it seems to be "on trend" in one way or another. Lately, I have really liked the look of beaded roll on bracelets like the ones offered on Nuptse's etsy shop. The owner hand makes these bracelets and I love the colors and designs she chooses. I have three bracelets from this shop and towards the end of the school year I wore them daily and received so many compliments. Here are two of the ones I have:
These bracelets are really comfortable too. They just roll on and during the process they do not pinch your skin at all. Before long I hope to order a custom set of six from Nuptse because her prices are some of the best I've seen. Here are my favorite bracelets from the ones available on her shop at the moment:
This set has a fun mix of blue, greens, and golds and I think the set looks great all together but would look equally as pretty separately.
How can you not love the vibrancy of this red and turquoise combo, this would be cute for the fourth of July!
I hope all of you had a great Memorial Day and enjoy your shortened week!
At the beginning of this month I did a post all about a new company I had discovered and I am so excited that today one of my readers will be able to have a shirt from this company also! I love my shirt from this shop and could not be more excited about how it turned out! My Frat Collection shirt is the Monica on a white shirt (boring, maybe but it goes with lots!).
This is my shirt right after I tore open the package it came in. It is safe to say that I love mail. I immediately put it on and holy cow this shirt is so soft! I like my t-shirts big on me, so I ordered it in a medium when I wear a small in most clothing articles. I hope that helps out with an idea of the sizing! I love my shirt and I will be ordering more once I make my mind up about what colors to choose. I've already worn this twice and have received numerous compliments on how cute it is and I am sure the winner of this giveaway will as well! Here are two of the outfits I instagramed while I was wearing this shirt:
w/ pink gingham nike shorts
w/ yellow and pink nike shorts
With 29 and 19 likes respectively I have no doubt in my mind that these shirts are sure to become a hit!
Now for my readers, it is time for you to win your own! This giveaway will take place from today May 25th all the way to June 7th!
I am sorry for being M.I.A. these past couple of days but I have had exams and I am finally finished! Hello Summer!
And now for the real reason you clicked on this post the giveaway!!
I wish all of y'all could have won and I was blown away with the number of entries this giveaway received. I highly advise y'all to check out my blog tomorrow or the next day because I have another fantastic giveaway that is perfect for the summer months! But the winner of this giveaway was...
Today I am trying out blogger on my phone since this weekend time is limited. So far I like it but then again I'm only on sentence two. I'm hanging out by the pool right now and the weather is perfect! Tonight we have to attend baccalaureate which is at 6:00 and my brother is the speaker. He has been practicing a lot but won't let me read it. A ton of my family members came to Chattanooga (where my brother goes to school) so it is a very good thing that we have a condo up here. Tomorrow is going to be crazy so it is unlikely that I will be able to get a post in. My brothers graduation starts at 8 in the morning but you can get there and start reserving seats at 6:30 IN THE MORNING. Holy mess!! I am very proud of all of his achievements and am glad so many family members came support him this weekend!!
As you are reading this I am probably already on my way to our condo for my brothers graduation weekend. I am very excited about this but am also semi apprehensive because I have so much studying to do to prepare for my exams next week and I know I won't want to do it with all of my family around. But that is besides the point of what I wanted to tell y'all about today. Earlier this spring I ordered two plain bandeau bathing suits from Lands End Canvas and I just got them back from the monogram shop and couldn't be any more pleased!
I ordered this one and a black one and they are only $7.97 a piece!
It isn't letting me insert a before picture but if you click on the link then you can see it and order one for yourself! After the suits came in I took them to my monogram lady to do her magic and TADA...
I got these TWO monogrammed swimsuits and matching bottoms for cheaper than one monogrammed top from Marley Lilly. I am very excited about how cut these will look pool, bay, and river side!
As the school year winds down things have stayed just as hectic. With graduation, graduation parties, banquets, and exams my schedule stays just as packed as ever. Here is a little recap of recent happenings.

Sorry I haven't posted since last Wednesday but I have been focusing on my AP Exams.
My first AP Exam is today (I wrote this yesterday) and it is AP Biology. At my school on days you have AP exams you only have to come to school for a half a day so I am super excited about being able to go home and take a nap! On Wednesday I have my second AP Exam which is AP Language and Composition.
Here have been my must haves for studying for these exams:
1) Review Books
This book and a chart that goes with it have been my best friers while reviewing for my Bio Exam.
This has been my go to snack while studying. It has the perfect ratio of bunnies to pretzels.
(from my instagram: prepinyourstep)
My favorite drink from my favorite local coffee shop. While I am there I usually pick up a piece of pumpkin bread as well. Yumm!
For those of you who may not know, Spotify is a music playing sight that is set up similar to iTunes but all the music is free to listen to on your computer.
5) And last but not least, Sleep
Sleep has made it so that my studying is more efficient.
Lately I have found myself checking flash sale websites more and more often. With lots of events coming up I have been checking some of my favorite flash sale sites to see what kind of deals I can snag on clothing items I may need. If you don't know what I mean by a flash sale site, basically it is a website that has discount designer goods at a fraction of the original price because they are offered for a short amount of time in a limited quantity. It is always fun to log onto one of these sites and see a sale you really want to shop and order some nice merchandise for a wallet friendly cost. Below I have listed some of my favorite of the flash sale sites along with invite codes since they are members only.
One of these sites that tends to offer the most high end of the designer goods is Gilt Groupe. They are also good about including sales that aren't just one designer based but instead are made around an article or style of clothing and they incorporate numerous brands into these sales. They offer sales for Men, Women, Kids, Makeup, Home Goods, and Travel/Getaway deals.
Another awesome site is Rue La La. I have mentioned them before when discussing the great Lilly dresses I purchased from them a few weeks ago. Out of all the sites I think Rue La La is the one who carries Lilly most often. It is not uncommon to find Vineyard Vines on there too and I think there website is the easiest to navigate. Rue La La has a rain boot sale coming up on Thursday and I am suspicious as to if this will include Hunter Rain boots.
Haute Look also carries some great brand name merchandise at a fraction of the cost. I have ordered a couple of pairs of jeans from them and found it easy to return items that didn't fit and I have loved the items that have worked.
Another great one is Ideeli. I was so sad when I logged on today and saw that the deal of the day was a pair of Jack Rogers ballet flats originally $180 but offered for $89. To bad my size was all sold out! They also had some great colored denim on the site yesterday that would have been $24 a pair.I definitely recommend checking it out.
I highly recommend checking out these fun sites because you never know what deals you can get!
Holy cow, I never knew a T-Shirt could be so cute until I discovered The Frat Collection! During the summer I live in Nike shorts and T-shirts so last summer I decided I would do something to my shirts to make them cuter. I bought a pack of white V-Necks and monogrammed them but boy did the Frat Collection one up me! How could you not love this:Mission: Our mission is to cultivate and promote those noble ideals, instilled in us by our Southern heritage, through our providence of the finest quality clothing, superior customer service, and unmatched support for philanthropic efforts.
Some of my monogrammed shirts paired with Nikes:

And I thought I was being clever and cute, well the Frat Collection came up with an even cuter customizable t-shirts with printed pockets! Why couldn't I have thought of that? The idea is genius! You choose the pattern (they have a bunch) that you want on the pocket and then you choose what color you want the actual shirt to be and lastly you choose if you want long sleeves or short sleeves. I love shirts with pockets so it is no surprise that I want one in every pattern!
and for the Fourth of July the Judy
And then you can choose any of the 42 shirt colors! Talk about personalization!
As if I weren't already compelled enough to purchase one you can also enter a Philanthropy in the box on the customization page and they will donate 10% of the proceeds to the one of your choice! It is a win win shirt for everyone, I just wish I was not so indecisive and the process of picking would be easier!
If you were to get one of these shirts which combination would you pick?
